Prestbury Village Pharmacy has a small number of dedicated staff who are trained to assist you with all aspects of your healthcare needs.

Your Pharmacist.

David Wood is the owner and Pharmacist at Prestbury Village Pharmacy. Having graduated with a BSC(Hons) in Pharmacy from The University of Manchester, he has worked in pharmacies throughout the northwest of England, completing his pre-registration year in Nantwich, Cheshire, and has also spent time practising in Australia.

David is a member of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society of Great Britain and the General Pharmaceutical Council.

Your Dispensers.

The pharmacy has three dispensing assistants who work under the supervisiion of the pharmacist. Their role includes selecting medication from the dispensary to fulfill prescriptions, receiving and unloading incoming goods from wholesalers, and assembling medication for our nursing homes and Medidose patients.

Your Counter Assistants.

We have two counter assistants at the pharmacy wo also work under the supervision of the pharmacist. They are trained to offer advice on common ailments and provide you with up to date information about any over the counter medicines you may require.

Your Delivery Driver.

Our delivery driver makes daily visits to the local Doctor's surgeries to drop off patient's repeat prescription requests, and collect prescriptions that patients need dispensing. He also delivers medication to house bound patients and the nursing homes we dispense for.
